not dishwasher safe

I really liked these bowls when I received them for the first time. They are advertised as dishwasher safe. It's only when you look at the fine print that you realize that the lids are NOT dishwasher safe. Found this out the hard way. I now have several bowls where the lid no longer fits perfectly into the bowl.

Pros
  • Absolutely brilliant!
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

I have so much to say about these bowls! I love her! I threw away my other bowls after opening the packaging for this one! Things I like: 1. The rubber outsole is great. It really keeps the bowls in place, especially if you're using a blender. 2. Stainless steel color and overall quality are great. It looks like a really high quality product. 3. Bowls and lids fit together perfectly. This makes it very convenient to store! While I like that aspect, I wish the lids were on the inside so the…

Updated: Down from 4 to 2 stars

I ordered these because they have lids (we have a constant problem with flies coming in from outside) and I wanted something I could easily handle could put the lid on and cool. I took off 1 star because I REALLY wish the lids were dishwasher safe. I was concerned about the rust reviews on the bowls, so I immediately hand washed them and let them air dry. So far no rust. I've put 2 bowls through the dishwasher and so far so good. My favorite feature is that they snuggle up with lids for storage

Good bowls but too narrow to take one bowl from another

These are good quality bowls and I like the protective base. However, they fit so well and tightly that it becomes difficult to remove the inner cups from the socket, as the silicone base allows them to slide apart easily. I've been using them for a while now and have some additional thoughts. Yes I like the lids as they both seal and cool while stretch wrap doesn't work without the lids. Silicone bases are good BUT these shells are so tight together that the non-slip effect of the silicone…

Decent mixing bowls

I had never owned mixing bowls but chose stainless steel because I felt I could achieve durability without the fragile nature of glass. I also liked the fact that lids were included in case I was making a large batch of something and wanted to store it in the fridge for later use. Although I've only used the smallest 3 bowls and haven't had to use lids yet, everything seems to close very well. The trays stay in place during use and are easy to clean afterwards. I mainly use them to make various
