I have thick, wavy hair. Usually when I wash and straighten my hair at night, it gets very wavy in the morning. It didn't work with this iron. It kept my hair straight. My hair doesn't stick either. It just slips through. My daughter who has fine straight hair used it as a curling iron and she said it lasted all day which never happens. Given the cost of iron, it works a lot better than what used to be more expensive. I can't wait to use it for travel.

For some reason my hair is sticky and not that smooth when I try to straighten it. However, it works very well to curl my hair. I'm not sure why that is. I hoped he could do both. never mind

Overall I thought the product was great, it heats up quickly and you don't waste time, it's very light and easy to use and you don't have to worry about breaking the cord since it has a swivel system, I liked that it has a place for you. the product without touching it directly and without burning your fingers, moreover you have a glove which is great since you have double protection and I also liked the product storage bag. DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY! This rectifier is the worst. Does NOT flatten or straighten my already straight, silky hair. The plates rub against my silky hair, painful and very damaging to the hair. I usually only have to run the chi rectifier over it once and it's done. I thought I would upgrade but it was a big downgrade just MORE EXPENSIVE. And I missed my 4 week window to come back (which I didn't even know about) so now I'm stuck with a very expensive piece of junk. DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY!

This is the best flat iron I have ever bought. The temperature controller works perfectly. Heats up quickly and does not damage hair. The hair glides smoothly and does not stick. Easy to use and handle. Works great, I can straighten my hair in under 15 minutes, very comfortable. It is very convenient for travel and does not take up much space. I like its very attractive color. it is worth the price.
