Surprisingly it doesn't have many pages but I still think it will last quite a while. It's amazing that a pad of newspaper costs so much, but at least it's the "smooth" kind and not the "rough" kind. Rough newsprint isn't great for drawing from life as it can damage your materials.

This material is great for practicing drawing moves on paper, and you won't sleep if it breaks. It's not designed for continuous use and will yellow over time, but knowing all this means there's no need to go wrong. It works great with the Conte 2271 sketching and drawing pen. This paper is suitable for markers, crayons and watercolors but is not thick enough for real colour. The ink seeps through the paper. It will be useful for drawing and won't get upset if the kids ruin it, but next time you need to buy thicker paper. I like the size and length and it arrived quickly.
