not for Toyota 4x4 from 2006

These shock absorbers are not made for Tacoma 4x4 from 2006, they fit older bodies from 95 to 2004 and little did I know I only had 30 days to return them

Pros
  • Spare parts
Cons
  • Reliability

Great for the price!

Great shocks but the rubber bushing on the underside of the shock is terrible. It was so hard to put back in place that it would twist and fall apart.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires socket

Would only buy this shock if you have 0 " stroke on the Tundra.

The shock is only 25" long. That is about 1" shorter than what is really needed for my 2013 Tundra which has a 1" block jack in the back. I recommend a 26" shock for any Tundra with a 1" leveling block. I read the comments before buying and someone said it works with 0-2". Buoyancy. 0" rise yes, 1" rise not really. You can make it work, but some rigging is required. Will not work with stock rubber pads.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Expensive
