I grew up on the beach with Kadima. Bought this set to get the kids interested. They have been a hit and I have used them several times since purchasing them. I love the patriotic theme displayed throughout the game. The oars have held up and appear to be of good quality. The ball is smaller than I remember but I haven't played in 20 years so it must have been the same size!

The goal was to play kadima on the beach. The goal was reached last week. Well, I've held a paddle/racquet in my hands my entire life. But it takes time to get used to this particular paddle. I personally prefer a tight racquet, like my 17g TNT tennis racquet, but still have fun playing on the beach. Improve your reflexes by practicing volleyball drills. Yes. Very funny. TerriS

I love this game and have loved it since we were in high school in the 80's and my friends and I used to play on the beaches of California. My son loves it now too and we enjoy playing together. The paddles and balls were good quality and seem to hold up but as others have said don't put them in the water as they are wooden, silly! Otherwise, it should be a worthy investment in a game your family will enjoy for decades to come.

I had the original Kadima set and unfortunately it doesn't match the quality of the original. The paddles are not symmetrical, the edges of the wood are sharp and awkward, the ball is crooked, has a large recessed seam and has no action compared to the paddles that older balls had. The original blades were made in Israel and had a hollow core, these are made in China, of course, from cheap engineered plywood. They're not a lot of money, so maybe I shouldn't be so critical, but it's embarrassing
