Exact replacement for a 40+ year old application. After a quick internet search it was easy to swap out the two shower valve assemblies. Much cheaper than a plumber and doesn't require a lot of effort if you're on hand at all.

After removing the existing cartridge (this can be easy or difficult depending on how long you have used the old cartridge), installation is a breeze. The instruction is easy to follow and the parts are ready.

I bought a set of two replacement cartridges for not much more than buying one cartridge. I have 4 faucets that use them. Installed so far and it works very well, IE turns on and off and mixes hot/cold very smoothly.

I've changed these cartridges before and they were the same as the Moen or Danco brands which are twice the price. Easy to install and works as it should. Now my faucet is very easy to use. I can turn the water on and off with one finger instead of pulling and pushing the handle to open and close it.

Parts were delivered quickly. The parts were just what I needed to renovate 37 year old bathtub faucets in both bathrooms. The water wasn't hot enough because some cold water could still get in, even if it was just turned hot, making the mixture just warm. A new cartridge solved the problem.

They're easy to install, although you'll need a better puller than the one that comes with the stock and they work reasonably well. The water here is disgusting - acidic and full of chloramines, so rubber dies off quickly. OEM parts seem to last a little longer but they cost MUCH more, they work the same as OEM though not as long so are cheaper.

My Moen Aberdeen kitchen faucet which requires a 1225-2 PPP cartridge. That's how they should be, but none fit. Despite everything, they were too big to fit in the crane. I ended up using the rubber washers from them and putting them on top of the old cartridge. This will work for a while, but it was obvious that these washers weren't that thick and wouldn't last as long. I would give them zero stars if I could.
