Actually works better than the hard fixed angle tire I bought at the same time Follow the instructions and it works very well. Don't confuse the straps. It also folds up so it doesn't take up much space in your luggage (about the size of a shoe). Helps me keep my plantar fasciitis under control on vacation if I walk a lot. (Disney World, mountains, etc.) It seems to be built quite well and I expect it will last me at least a couple of years.

Does not work very well

The construction of this item requires a snug fit above and below the knee to withstand foot pressure on the straps. Also, the stockings have no arch support and they really hurt after a few nights. I put a shoe support in it which helped a bit. The big problem, however, is that to keep the sock from slipping off the leg at night, the sock has to be very tight at the top, which cuts off blood circulation and causes abrasions on the leg. I threw them away.

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Easily repairable

The size chart on the website is incorrect. I .

The size chart on the website is incorrect. I'm 11 and ordered a large size. Too big for my narrow foot. They are too big for my foot even though they have velcro, the sock part rotates around my ankle and they are too long. I'm only giving it two stars because I can trade it in for the original box and a smaller size for $37. There is NO right of return for this item, even though the website says the wrong size! I hope someone from Goodwill can use this if they only charge you $1. It was…

THIS IS THE RIGHT CONCEPT FOR AN EFFICIENT NIGHT SPARE

After 14 years of treating plantar fasciitis, I think THAT is the right concept for an effective night splint. Depending on the shape of the leg, a calf arch will last well through the night. Better than many others I've used. This is not a perfect product. Depending on how much tension you want to apply, the foot pad will tend to creep forward. It would be much better if he had an implanted heel cup. This product lasts best all night with moderately high plantar tension and doesn't put stress…

Best Night Splint for Achilles Tendonitis!

Let me start by saying that I bought this splint to help with Achilles tendonitis not plantar fasciitis. Before purchasing this item, I tried two different hard tires (a back tire and a back tire). I found that while holding my foot at a therapeutic angle and stretching my calf and tendon, the posterior cut off blood flow and created a painful pressure point in my heel after just a few minutes. In addition, it was bulky, uncomfortable and impossible to enter. The back brace I tried, although…
