Actually works better than the hard fixed angle tire I bought at the same time Follow the instructions and it works very well. Don't confuse the straps. The construction of this item requires a snug fit above and below the knee to withstand foot pressure on the straps. Also, the stockings have no arch support and they really hurt after a few nights. I put a shoe support in it which helped a bit. The big problem, however, is that to keep the sock from slipping off the leg at night, the sock has to be very tight at the top, which cuts off blood circulation and causes abrasions on the leg. I threw them away.

The size chart on the website is incorrect. I'm 11 and ordered a large size. Too big for my narrow foot. They are too big for my foot even though they have velcro, the sock part rotates around my ankle and they are too long.
