I can't be a serious road cyclist. I wanted a tortoise shell style helmet instead of aero road bike helmets. The color is nice and it does the job but I have to keep the strap tight as I have it big and it's a bit loose. I had an instance where I flipped the handlebars and then flipped my bike over me. . I think I hit my shoulder first but the helmet stayed on and I didn't have any head sores.

do not buy these helmets if you intend to use them. Of course they fit well and work well. But the pads wear out VERY quickly. They fall apart every 6 months. And new pads are very expensive! $20 for a spare set? Purchase Bell's helmet. They will send you packages with free pads.
