Curls just don't hold with this wand. I find it too big and can't resist my big one. I have longer hair, just below my shoulders, so in theory this size should give nice bouncy curls, but they don't fit well and are difficult to style. I have lots of hair (blonde) but a bit thin. Temperature adjusted, no difference. It's a shame I didn't spend the money.

I have thick hair. It holds the curls pretty well, but this straightener (set on the hottest setting) couldn't make curls that would stay. It curled up for about 30 minutes and then I had waves and then nothing. waste of time and money. Tried it twice and same result.

The length of the iron is excellent Heats up perfectly Doesn't grip or hold the hair, slips through. The remorse of buyers is genuine. UPDATE: After working with it for a while and actually spraying the barrel with a light hairspray, it's more workable and has held my hair better. Much happier with it, not sticky. Holds smoothly and releases easily. I really like the running length.

I really wanted this but unfortunately it didn't do my hair any good. It creates curls but they don't hold at all! My hair is medium to thick. I've never had this problem with my curling iron and I never use hairspray with it! This wand seems overpriced for what it does. I did the whole head and within 5 minutes my curls were completely gone, all I had were wavy ends. Unfortunately they are back.

I love this curling iron. It gives me perfect waves. I have very thick naturally curly hair. I usually have to straighten my hair with a flat iron and then curl it to get rid of the frizz. I don't have to do it with this iron. It took about 4 uses for the burning smell to go away from the barrel. It doesn't last all night like I'd like, but I guess it's just my hair.

Love love love this curling iron. I have very thick hair and the long body of the curling iron allows me to curl a large strand of hair at a time. Regular curling iron I need small sections to curl my hair. I had no idea the difference it made that a longer shaft would make all the difference for curling more hair at once. This curling iron is amazing! I first ordered a 1 1/2 barrel and found the waves were too loose for my hair length so I returned it and bought a 1 1/4 barrel curler and I'm LOVE. This is such a high quality product, the curls are the perfect size and the fact that the rollers are long makes them so much easier to use! Overall 5/5! Super happy
