I bought this to replace my first one. I use mine on the heat at least 2 times a week. The first still works, but the bristles are worn out. I would say they last 7-10 months depending on temperature conditions and usage. They don't break, they still work after that time, only the bristles disappear and wear out. Good product.

I bought a Hot Tools hair dryer after two revlon dryers had worn out. I was hoping I might have better luck with the Hot Tools version since the item was purchased through my stylist. I liked that the brush was detachable and allowed for deeper brushing. Unfortunately, after almost daily use, the brush began to lose its bristles, as did my other brushes. I bought these after losing the brush that came with my hot tools. The brush is great and serves its purpose. However, the top of this brush gets very hot. So if you want to grab the top of the brush to go through your hair, you may not be able to. My other brush doesn't. It felt cool. So I doubt this is a really hot tool brush hence only 3 stars.

The brush I use. Like a month it kinda bent and kinda melted? Not good. I will not write to the company until February 2021. I have long hair and clean my brushes regularly. The bristles, as you can see, are already worn out - there is nothing that sticks to the hair. So disappointed!

1. Hot tool block replacement. Big. I have very thick, wavy hair. For best results, ensure hair is towel dried or air dried halfway before application.

I love that you can change the brush if it gets deformed with use. But I didn't have a good spare brush. The one I received is poorly assembled. He staggers and so grabs my hair and pulls on it. I really love this brand in just one styler. He does what I want. But I wasn't lucky, I got a bad brush.
