They supplied extra orange tips. Now I understand why. They pop out at about 50% of the allowable rotation of these tips. Both hands may be required to point the tip in the right direction. After losing a few in hard-to-reach places, I decided they weren't the right fit for me as they were meant to be a one-handed clip and not involve frequent retrieval of a lost tip.

As with all others, the orange plastic tip will fall off. It is better to make a clamp with a wire that does not allow the tip to fall off. Look for a better made item. They work when the tip falls off and is lost. They just don't work as intended. Otherwise it's good value for money. I used a dab of super glue hoping it would keep them from falling off.
