Great photo quality but you get what you pay for

I bought a set of 72mm UV/FLD/CPL. Here is the bottom line:1. The FLD is definitely some cheap plastic. But I really don't care, I won't be using it as my camera has an in system adjustment. The mount feels like plastic, too. I'll be throwing it in the garbage.2. The UV could be glass or plastic, but regardless it's perfectly fine. You have to remember that UV filters do little more than just protect the lens. The mount feels like metal.3. The CPL works well. I'm not sure if it is plastic or…

Pros
  • Protects your lens from scratches, dust and other types of environmental damage
Cons
  • The kit does not include a lens cap, making it difficult to protect the filters when not in use

good quality for a great price.

As many of the other reviews have pointed out, you can certainly buy better quality filters than these, but not for under ten dollars. My filter set arrived in a divided leather carrying case and each filter was individually sealed in it's own cellophane bag; new and clean (no smudges, dust or fingerprints). As far as build quality goes the three filters are not consistent:1) The UV filter is "heavy" and "cold" and makes a ting when tapped with a fingernail, giving the impression of an aluminum…

Pros
  • Multi-Coated Filters: Multi-Coated optical glass enhances optical resolution. Perfect with the Canon Rebel (T7i T6i T6 T6s T5i T5 T4i T3i SL1), Canon EOS (1200D 750D 650D 600D) and more.
Cons
  • The kit does not include filter cases, making it difficult to organize and store the filters

Good for the right application

I've been doing videography for 5 years but I'm finishing up college, so I'm always looking for the most bang for my buck when buying camera/video equipment. These filters are a decent match for my (inexpensive) 18-55mm f3.5-5.6 lens and they generally do what they are intended to do. I'm careful with them and haven't had any issue with them regarding their quality. I believe they are built quite well (for the price) and the CPL filter spins nicely without being too loose. The CPL filter…

Pros
  • Kit Includes: 58MM Multi-Coated Filter Kit (Ultraviolet UV, Circular Polarizer CPL, Fluorescent FLD), Filter Carry Pouch, Miracle Microfiber Lens Cleaning Cloth.
Cons
  • The filters can cause a loss of sharpness in images

Don't use in harsh light

These filters arrived today, and the first thing I did was screw one onto my Canon Rebel T2i + EF-S 18-55 IS to see how they performed. I was sitting in my living room, so I immediately pointed the camera at a nearby light. What do I see? A faint ghost light floating around the frame. Now, to be fair, the light was extremely bright - a 900+ lumen daylight bulb. In fact, my camera can't really take a properly exposed image with one of these lights in frame.I'll be uploading some shots I took that

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • The CPL filter may not be effective in certain lighting situations, such as low light or indoor settings

You can't go wrong with these. :-)

These things are awesome! I have noticed these make a beneficial impact to my photography in the year I've been using these. They screw on easily, and they stay there. The CPL has a collar around it and acts as a bearing for my lens hood. That works perfectly. The FLD works-if you have a full spectrum CFL lamp or set of lamps like that. If they're not full spectrum, it's not of use. However, if you need to get rid of the green cast from a light with mercury vapor in it, it will do that…

Pros
  • Adds durability and extends the life of your expensive lenses by shielding them from damage with its strong lens filter kit
Cons
  • The filters are not very versatile and may not be useful for all types of photography

CPL's glass rattles

I purchased this set of filters because I was happy with the same brand of filters for my 62mm-diameter lenses. I expected the 72mm filters to work equally well. While the CPL does work as advertised it's glass is very loose within the frame so it rattles around a lot when adjusting the CPL. A couple of times I was convinced that the glass was just going to fall out. I don't plan to return it because the filters do get the job done and they help to protect the lens itself. If the glass does…

Pros
  • No
Cons
  • Filters are easily scratched and may not last long

Circular Polarizer alone is worth the value of this pack

I bought this from the seller RetailTronics. I bought it for my canon S3 IS camera (with a lens adapter of course). I received it very quickly - like 2-4 days within the day I ordered (with regular shipping).I was trying it out today outdoors to see how it works. I mainly wanted to get a good circular polarizer - was very tempted to get the Hoya one, but this was much cheaper and had good reviews - thought its worth the gamble. Boy, it turned out to be a great gamble. I tried on the CPL - it…

Pros
  • Its multi-coated filters offer maximum light transmission and reduce unwanted reflections to produce crisp, clean images
Cons
  • The kit does not include a protective cover for the filters when not in use

Good product - questionable returns

I ordered the 43mm Zeikos filter kit from PlusDigUSA. The ordering process was easy and I received my shipment ahead of time. After getting the product, I realized that I ordered the wrong size. I emailed the company and asked how to return for a replacement. They were quick to respond and the next day, I shipped the product back. That's when the problem started. I emailed them on June 4th, June 16th, June 22nd and June 23rd trying to find out if they had shipped my replacement or any sort of…

Pros
  • 5 ounces
Cons
  • The filters can cause unwanted reflections in images

Does the job at value price!

I bought the Zeikos ZE-FLK58 58mm Multi-Coated 3 Piece Filter Kit (UV-CPL-FLD) from ebay.com for my 18-55mm f/3.5 kit lens from my Canon Rebel XTi.I've used filters before with other generic brands and they now need replacing (and I've lost a few along the way). At less than ten bucks, thats how much I paid for just one UV filter four years ago and on this kit you get three for the same price. The build quality of the filters are superior and doesn't feel cheap.Circular Polarizer (CPL): The…

Pros
  • Its UV filter reduces haze, which enables you to capture stunning scenic views, even on a cloudy day
Cons
  • The UV filter can cause distortion in images, especially on wide-angle lenses

Perfect fit for SONY NEX 5N - exactly what I was looking for

I was looking for a UV filter to protect the lens on my SONY NEX 5N, and this three-pack was such a good deal that I could not pass it up. All filters fit SONY NEX 5N perfectly, they are easy to put on and take off. The original SONY lens cap fits securely. The UV filter stays on the camera permanently - I notice no degradation in the image and it protects the lens from dirt and scratches.I also used the polarizer filter a fair number of times, and has been satisfied with how it cut reflection…

  • Quality Filters: Filter UV - Protects your camera's lens from scratches, dust, dirt, moisture, and fingerprints, while reducing unwanted ultra-violet light. Filter CPL - Polarizers let you achieve vibrant color saturation, reduce or eliminate glare from non-metallic object.
