Professionals Choice Fly Boots Large Review

Ordinary flight boots can cause chafing. They are fleece lined and never rub. The only thing that stopped me from giving them 5 stars is that they sometimes fall apart in the washing machine.

This fly swatter stays put, won't twist or come loose. What I didn't like was that the front and rear boots are the same size and therefore not high enough/big enough for my show horses' hind legs. But in general I am satisfied with them, my legs do not get warm and do not fall off.

These boots didn't fit, especially on my mare and she ended up wrinkled around her hooves. The fleece was too hot and my horses lost hair on their legs. Fleece also picked up stickers that were difficult to remove. When it rained they got dirty. I bought these because my gelding's legs were covered in blood from fly bites and they solved that problem. It will probably work well in cooler weather. They fit my gelding very well.

These boots are awesome. I have a horse that scratches constantly every summer. I decided to try flying boots to see if that might help. I tried other brands that were more expensive and didn't try these at first because of the fleece lining. I am looking after a 35 year old. An old flea bit a gray Arabian horse bitten to death by flies in Southern California. Most of the people in my stable wear Kensington fishnet boots, but they're too big for this little gelding.
