normal flight boots can cause chafing. That .

Ordinary flight boots can cause chafing. They are fleece lined and never rub. The only thing that stopped me from giving them 5 stars is that they sometimes fall apart in the washing machine.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Nothing here

Pretty good flight boots!

This fly swatter stays put, won't twist or come loose. What I didn't like was that the front and rear boots are the same size and therefore not high enough/big enough for my show horses' hind legs. But in general I am satisfied with them, my legs do not get warm and do not fall off.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • No Instructions

Fleece is too hot for summer!

These boots didn't fit, especially on my mare and she ended up wrinkled around her hooves. The fleece was too hot and my horses lost hair on their legs. Fleece also picked up stickers that were difficult to remove. When it rained they got dirty. I bought these because my gelding's legs were covered in blood from fly bites and they solved that problem. It will probably work well in cooler weather. They fit my gelding very well.

Pros
  • Practical thing
Cons
  • There are disadvantages

Love these boots most in Boots & Wraps

These boots are awesome. I have a horse that scratches constantly every summer. I decided to try flying boots to see if that might help. I tried other brands that were more expensive and didn't try these at first because of the fleece lining. However, my horse had other thoughts and would not put on any other boots than these after we tried the set. As hot as they seem to me, he seems to love them and the scratches are completely gone. I probably go through a set every summer but they are worth

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Good but not great

NOT too hot for hot weather

I am looking after a 35 year old. An old flea bit a gray Arabian horse bitten to death by flies in Southern California. Most of the people in my stable wear Kensington fishnet boots, but they're too big for this little gelding. I have had many comments from people in the stable that the fleece in these boots is unsuitable for our sometimes 100+ degree temperatures. I've researched online and am confused with about 50-50 reviews saying they are too hot/not too hot. I decided to try it myself and

  • Very good price

  • piggy bank price
