Comfortable and aerodynamic

For my Fuji Norcom 1.3 TT bike this bottle works. I took out the yellow cleansing pad and filled it to the top, it spilled a bit, but since I only use water and not a sports drink, I can live with a few drips getting on my feet when I start. I replaced the rigid, straight drinking tube with a flexible, clear tube that I bought at a hardware store. The flexible tube bends and doesn't bother me when I'm in the most aerodynamic position. I use it with the Profile Design universal mount. Overall…

Throw away the installation guide and get creative

I like the bottle - I only used it with elastics before getting the braces which was fine if the bottle was a hassle to remove and clean. I just received the mount and while the mount itself is fine, the various velcro straps and adapters are designed really horribly. Check out a YouTube video that says you have to ditch the velcro and instead use zip ties to attach the brace to the bars - easier and safer. I also changed the front strap to avoid having to thread it through both sides of the…

Can be a great product but needs some "improvements "

Bought this for my new trike last summer and was happy with it, good enough for four stars. Here are my problems: - When driving outside in the heat, the liquid gets hot quickly, the bottle is just plastic, nothing prevents heat loss. I'm thinking of making a styrofoam sleeve for it to reduce heat loss. I bent the drinking tube with a hair dryer so that it was positioned so that my mouth could reach it. The tube hole is loose enough to allow the tube to twist while riding. I drilled a bit of a…

he said it is good and easy to use

I bought it for my husband as a triathlon gift. He used it for the first time last weekend, he said it was good and easy to use. The only thing he found was that the drinking pipe was a bit sharp at the end and he had to be careful not to scratch his palate. I suggested attaching a rubber end, like on a camel's back. He must try again. Secondly my husband didn't have aero bars on his bike so he had to buy one to fit the bottle but it worked well as he found them really useful as he had never…

Pros
  • Weight: 171 grams
Cons
  • The list will be long.

In the introduction to this review I would like to say that I only use it for racing. Why? Because it makes sense. I want to stay airborne, I'm with other people so rocking the bike while grabbing a bottle isn't great and the straw sticking out of my face allows me to just drink and have to don't think about getting off aero. And if you take away the bottles they have on the course, you can refill them just by throwing them in. Whereas with a bottle you have to either refill it or throw it away

Pros
  • Easy to refill without splash guard
Cons
  • Little things

Everything about it is good except for the flexible hose.

I have 2 now. I am a triathlon cyclist and getting up from the aero position to drink really slows me down as I have to bend down, take a sip and put my water bottle back in the cage (below or behind me) . Now all I have to do is put the straw in my mouth and drink. When the tank is empty I take the water bottle from one of the cages and use the quick fill cap (cut open neoprene cap). I've found that if I put the spout of the bottle in there and squeeze the bottle about 4 times, it completely…
