Perfect! Provides an INTERNAL 9-pin FIREWIRE connector to connect the front panel of a PC for a new custom build to a new next-generation Z270 motherboard that does not have a built-in 9-pin FIREWIRE connector. Does the work I bought it for

No problems installing on Dell XPS 8700 with Windows 8.1. Windows recognized the card and loaded the TI drivers included with Windows when I got to where it was installed. I connected a Sony DCR-TRV330 via firewire using the cable that came with the camera. As soon as I switched the camera to VCR mode, Cyberlink Photo Director 10 opened up. I haven't taken any extended shots yet, but the five-minute recording went smoothly, no sign of lag or dropped frames. The video I tried it on was a Hi8…

Tips for use with 64-bit Win7 - Driver complexity

The card works because I now use miniDV tapes from an old Sony camcorder copy to my computer . Turn off the device, install the card (choose the right mount first). Note: This is a PCI-E (PCI-Express) x1 card. Make sure you have a compatible motherboard. The card was not found. But no problem, the instructions on page 1 advise you to go to the website for the latest drivers. There's a minidisc in the box, but it's always best to get the latest version online. I'm trying to install said drivers,
