Professionals save time and money with our competitively-priced products that outlast inferior brands. Do the job with confidence - replace your worn components with the leader in performance chassis parts: Proforged. WHAT IS A TIE ROD END? A tie rod end (also known as a tie rod) is part of your vehicle’s steering system - it ties various steering components together to allow your wheels to turn. Tie rod ends are built with a ball-and-socket design, just like your hip, and need to be replaced as they wear out. A worn tie rod end causes poor handling and makes it difficult or impossible to achieve an alignment, which leads to rapid tire wear. Replacing your worn tie rod ends gives a noticeable improvement in steering feel, handling, and safety.

Not Worth the Investment

This automotive product is not worth the investment. As a result of using this product I found that it did absolutely nothing to improve the handling of my car. The installation process was tedious and complicated, and the instructions were unclear. The only pro of this product is THAT it looks nice, but thats not worth the price tag. The major con is the fact that it's simply not effective in improving the performance of the car. Save your money and invest in a different product..

Pros
  • Easy to install and adjust to eliminate bumpsteer
Cons
  • May require additional alignment adjustments to achieve desired results

Fixes geometry and EPAS issues

My 2011 Mustang GT has a stupid EPAS issue when the steering is trying to fix tire defects. This is additionally reinforced by polymer bushings in the wishbone. My car drops 1.4 inches and steering becomes an issue when there are ruts in the road. These extended tie rod ends fixed the keyed steering (steer) and shaking experienced in 11s and some 12s before Ford simplified Active Nibble Control programming. I would recommend their more expensive brands simply for the boot space and warranty.
