This is exactly what we expected. We had an electrician hang it because we didn't want to hang it ourselves. We have a dimmer and the light is bright when we need it and soft when we don't need much light! I highly recommend this lamp!

We were looking for a mid-century lamp above our kitchen table with white cords. Y=It was perfect. Our table is about 48 inches tall and was the perfect size to give off a nice, soft, filtered light. I made it myself, all parts were included.

Worked great in my nephew's bathroom with high ceilings but poorly lit. The existing ceiling light was over 15 feet tall, by replacing it with this pendant light I was able to lower the light about 8 feet off the floor and the light went up and down so the ceiling is now well lit and the shadows that created Rooms that are so uninviting are gone. The bonus is that the lightbulb is now much easier (and safer) to change. And it looks great, not too flashy, just smooth and round - not a dust…
