Go through these. Top equipment

I liked them at first, but two straps broke after the first pull! I was in shock, luckily nothing was hurt. Update - 4 belts snapped.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Legacy Model

Tie up the trash can!

The perfect length for attaching bins and recycling bins to railings to protect them from the wind and secure a lid that won't stay in place. Rubber and galvanized steel must withstand the weather for at least a few seasons. Exactly what I needed!

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Modern

!GARBAGE! !DO NOT BUY!

Scrap, I bought them in January this year, they were kept indoors, started using yesterday - I broke 6 of them near the hooks on FIRST USE, VERY VERY DELIGHTED! SORRY THE RETURNS WINDOW IS CLOSED AND THE ORIGINAL SELLER NO LONGER SELL THEM! GEE- "INTERESTING WHY"?!

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Good straps. Especially for the price.

Unbeatable for the price. There was a slight odor when first opened, but that has gone. They form a chalk white layer at first but overall great straps for the price! These are not elastic bands, they are elastic bands. Worked great for my double bag.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Volume

Not worth the money and not safe.

Partly defective shortly after purchase. The rubber band breaks when slightly stretched. Attached is a photo of one of the straps which broke on first use. Do yourself a favor, just head to your local trucking store to get some elastic bands. They have local truckers who need to be held accountable for selling this crap.

Pros
  • Stable construction
Cons
  • Almost everything is in order

Keep rolling hardware

We use them to secure the tarps on our truck when we go to the junkyard. They keep breaking, throwing 1/2 of the broken strap and metal hook through the air onto the freeway. We only used them 3 times. It just seems like this is the brand as we have been using this type of strap for 30 years with no problems. Maybe good for very light indoor use. Certainly not on the street.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

NOT for outdoor use

At first I found this was exactly what I needed, something stretchy that could withstand high tension to secure a loose plastic lid to the box. However, after a few weeks, the rubber showed heat or UV damage from the side in the sun, and now, less than half a year later, it has rotted so badly that it bursts when stretched. Likely for indoor or other weatherproof use.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Fine

NOT natural rubber as advertised.

This is advertised as "natural rubber" - it is NOT natural rubber; They are made of EPDM. EPDM is a tougher material, not very flexible. With a lot of effort, they only stretch a few centimeters. EPDM is fine if you want a band that will stand up to the sun and don't care if it stretches a lot. Natural rubber is more resistant to extreme weather conditions and has much more stretch. If you want toughness, get this. If you want natural rubber straps that are flexible and cold resistant, look…

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Expensive

They stink! in tarps & tie-downs

Oh my god, they stink! The chemical/rubber smell is so strong it's annoying, so much so that I'm downgrading it to 4 stars. Other than that, they seem pretty good. Much better than the bungee. You need to insert the S hooks into the elastics. They kinda snap. They don't stretch as much as bungee, but I want it because I don't want to stretch too much. I use them to seal the trash can to keep the raccoons out. So far, so good. I also use them to protect our canopy during my sons baseball games…

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Trade-ins available
