I usually test new car washes on my black car, but I had to use a white one. Please note that immediately after spraying it has a pleasant, almost pink lemonade smell. It is sprayed on thickly and has a fairly good, not very smooth finish. One thing I noticed right away is that she doesn't want to dry out when buffing. I have been using this product for many years. As long as your car isn't dirtier than a layer of dust and light splashes of dirt or rain residue, this product will clean and polish in minutes. Scratch? If you use a good quality microfiber cloth or two and turn them often into a clean cloth, my cars have never had a scratch. If your car is really dirty like covered in mud, rinse the hose and then wipe it down. Then go ahead and use Prolong as above.

This is a strong detergent for waterless washing. It cleans great but be aware it doesn't look like Poorboy's Spray & Wipe or Griots Speed Shine etc. It has plenty of citrus cleanser and is best for heavier jobs than your typical WW. In fact, my eyes sting a little when using it. Still I love it. Think of it as an all-purpose cleaner that comes out of the bottle like a good QD. It's thick and grips well. I use this product to save water. outside the car - rinse - wash and clean wheels - dry outside the car. The end result was a clean car but with a few water spots unless I spray and wipe the entire car with polish. SOP with Prolong Waterless Wash: Spray Prolong on approximately 3 x 3 feet of car exterior - Wipe away dirt/dust with microfiber towel - Turn towel clean side - Turn again until shiny.
