Great prong collars for dogs with sensitive skin

Keeping my American Bulldogs necks red with the Reverse Prong HS Training Collar which I use on my walks. He has white thin fur and sensitive skin. These jagged pads protect its thin skin from irritation.

Exactly what I needed.

Got these as my dog still pulls on his barb occasionally. This will prevent his hair from getting tangled and pulling out which is a huge plus as his mane is gradually going bald. Pa kelp comes in way more than I need so if for some reason one of them breaks or falls off (doubtful as they are dense and great quality) I will have a spare to replace them.

Fills in the account for dogs

We have a labrador / pointer, 11 months old and she is strong. When she's excited she pulls hard on the leash, so we use a collar. She had crusts from the tines, so I looked around for rubber tips for the tine collar and found some. Revan was the best. It was cheap, delivered quickly and now the dog is tied without skin damage. I'll try to remember to update the rating if they fall down.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Speed of work

PERFECT #: Collars

The main reason I bought these was because my dog would snap easily and the friction of the tines would start causing dents. However, when I bought it I didn't think the collar would have a "ring" without rubber tips because I can't put it on and take it off a dog with rubber tips. For the record, I have a collar like this that doesn't have a buckle - you squeeze the pins to slide it in and out of the slot to put it on and off the dog, and it's 3.25mm. Nonetheless, the tips are great.

Works well for relieving pressure without losing control

Bought 2 types of pen covers and ended up keeping and using them as others had a sharp seam on the tip. One of my Alaskan Malamutes is a life saver and when we brought him to us he had a neck injury and couldn't speak, sing or bark. All that came out was a hoarse, harsh sound. Luckily it healed and got better a few months later, but whenever he got too much pressure on his throat it caused him problems with hoarseness and difficulty swallowing. If he's particularly responsive to these calming…

  • Free for educational purposes

I like them, but they still go off

In certain situations you have to put a control collar on your dog. I didn't quite "get" them at first, but now that I know how to use them, they're very useful. However, I didn't like the idea of metal pins digging into my dog's throat, so I bought these caps. I like them, but not all stay. The number you lose depends on how often you use the collar. Luckily there are 30 in the pack. I don't know how to avoid it. They cannot be glued, otherwise you will not be able to adjust the number of…
