pH balance for fish and aquatic animals

I was having trouble maintaining the correct pH in my aquarium and ordered this product which was recommended to me. It's ok but didn't lower the pH like I was hoping. I think it's expensive for its effectiveness.

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Appearance

Cloudy water and did NOT clear

I switched from an aquarium that was crystal clear and had a slightly high pH (8.2 or so) to one that had the correct pH -Had value but was milky to the point that it was disgusting. Pros
  • Lasting test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Python gravel vacuum cleaner. If I'm lucky I can remove about half the gravel before about 50% of the water is gone. Ideally I would prefer to change 10% of the water every 2-3 weeks but this is the only time this actually happens to replace almost 10% of the water lost to evaporation. I have never…
