Proraso Beard Balm: Enhancing Your Facial Hair Care Routine Through Effective Conditioning Review

I bought this product thinking it might be close enough to the aftershave I've bought before. The scent is similar to aftershave lotion, but not quite. The lotion itself is darker and thicker but doesn't do what an aftershave does. I really hope Prosaro will be making aftershaves again soon! I'm not a hippie or hipster growing a beard. Please would you like an aftershave. Please? pretty please I'll trade you for a beard!

I use this as a face moisturizer and beard softener. I love the smell and it leaves my skin feeling rejuvenated. The presence of the scent lasts for several hours and at the end of the day its intensity becomes more subtle. The only reason for the lack of an asterisk has to do with its packaging. I am a big fan of Proraso products and have been using them for 2 years. This year I decided to take a chance on their beard category and it was my first purchase. I used this stuff right after my shower and found it very easy to apply to my beard. The scent is definitely woody and mature, so this scent works for me. I'm not sure if this will hold up in an office environment. Old school smell, I like it. I'm waiting for the bottle to run out and trying the 2 other flavors Proraso has.

I decided to try this based on their shaving soap. I'm glad I did. It's expensive but worth it. Very nice smell (like an old barber shop as others have said). wood and spices. The scent is noticeable but not overpowering and lasts all day. It softens throughout the day but is still there at the end of the day. I bought this before Proraso's red aftershave was easier to find and came closest to her sandalwood scent, albeit more woody-earthy. Since it was good for a new beard, I figured clean-shaven skin wouldn't hurt either, and I was right. You don't need much, but it smells great and lasts with just a small amount. So also as an aftershave balm 5 stars. Because of the smell and texture, I ran it through my hair this morning rather than my usual goo to see if it would tame my post-shower frizz. Works
