These are great for attaching a trailer or beach buggy. They survived two harsh winters, the locks did not rust, although the rubber pads on the locks are practically useless. Looks pretty solid and I was able to mount it on an ATV with 26" tires - with some difficulty. If you have big wheels, forget it. With slightly larger tires than stock tires I found it harder to pull super tight, but I'm not sure it would completely immobilize any size wheel unless there were spokes where the flanges could go deep.
