Excellent Soldering Station for Industrial Use

After trying this product, I am completely satisfied with its performance. The temperature control is accurate and consistent, making it easy to handle even the most delicate soldering tasks. The desoldering feature is an added bonus that saves me time and effort.

Pros
  • Accurate temperature control, convenient desoldering feature.
Cons
  • None found.

Crap, hands off!

Don't waste your money on this inferior hot air station, you only get paperweights. The heat gun is poorly constructed and they used PVC sheathed wires for the heating element which eventually melted and shorted out the gun and the unit blew the fuse. After repairing a gun with wires in silicone sleeves, the unit no longer has temperature control and becomes so hot that the metal end of the gun begins to glow bright red. This posed a safety hazard to my device that could result in personal…

The iron tips are of very poor quality.

Station I had less than a week and given the good training of the hot air side it has been going well so far. However, I used the iron for a total of several hours and found that the tip had almost completely dissolved. I have had another iron with the same tip for over 15 years and have never had a problem. This literally melted away in hours of use. I just used a damp sponge and rosin paste flux which shouldn't damage the tip in any way. I'm aware that tip breaks aren't all that rare, but the
