Not for 90 degree boots

These sockets were too small to fit through 8mm wire with 90 degree boots. If you're using straight boots they probably work fine, but for my application they don't.

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Used for warming up Spare parts

I used mine for warming up, I cut off and removed the metal ring and wrapped around the nozzles, works great, no problems since no matter how you apply blue powder on your hands , so be careful

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Some little things

Excellent protection for wires

I had one of these on my old 1966 Evinrude outboard spark plug and they weren't perfect. Water without problems Highly recommended

Just what I needed

Perfect, getting through 90 traffic jams was easier than I expected. You just have to wiggle it a little and you're done. I look good and I'm fine. Got them with shorter spark plugs from ACDelco and they fit perfectly. Will definitely buy again.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Spend a little more for better quality

The hole is small and you have to remove the cover to put it on the wire. Inside is a metal ring that also keeps them from stretching. You have to force them to close the back of the boot. It will not cover them completely. The paint also comes off during installation. I haven't worn them long enough to comment on how they last or help with thermal protection. Spend a little more money to get a better set.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Working with gloves

I only got 3 stars because of 2 things. 1) Your fingers, hands, etc. turn blue after touching them. 2) There is a metal ring on one end that (temporarily) blocks the passage of the spark plug cap. I have a Ford Ranger that I use them on. The spark plug wire cap is at a 65 degree angle and they didn't go through the bend at first. I ended up cutting the ring off and not only used it to protect my boots but where the spark plug wires ran around the engine I cut them off and zipped them to the…

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Hard to say
