OK. Power Strips & Surge Protectors

I love the look of this surge protector, plus the extra spacing and 4 USB ports. However, when I plugged it in, something killed the motherboard of my high-end 5 1/2 year old computer. I'm confused because I just spent $80 for a cooler upgrade and added 2 x 120mm fans to my home computer (8 Core AMD 125W, 750W PSU, 4GB Graphics). . Now I need to add $950 to a new Dell computer. I'm pretty sure the little static moment when I unplugged the old surge protector and plugged this new one back in…

Enough USB ports for all my devices to clear my setup

I really like the built in USB ports. I bought this to replace my regular power strip for my work from home use. The problem with my old setup is that the power adapter for the cell phone, iPad and headset is too small and takes up more space. This way I can only use 3 of the 6 sockets available. Now I don't need power supplies anymore and the setup is very clean. I noticed that charging can now be as fast as with the original adapter. That's the price I can accept. In general, the purchase is…

Badly designed.

The overvoltage protection works in the sense of an overvoltage protection. However, it is poorly constructed as the outer 6 outputs don't have enough space for the 6 outputs in the middle. Larger, bulkier power cords could have been placed outside, but after testing various power cords from smart home devices to Samsung's proprietary monitor connectors. I've found that most of them overlap the actual sockets in the middle, making them inaccessible and useless. Also this item is just badly…

Extension with multiple attachment options

This is one of the very few extensions with four '+' shaped attachment inserts on the back. This means that this extension can be mounted (on screws or nails): vertically or horizontally, while the extension can be extended in any desired direction: up, down, left or right. (If someone is mounting the power strip there with tape or Velcro, you don't care about those mounting inserts.) But for those of us who use screws or nails to place or position the power strip in an optimal position on the…
