I love this item. I installed it in my outboard post filter. One thing to worry about is too much wet skimmer and overflow. Mine is in a 29 gallon reef tank.

It's well made and easy to adjust. The only thing the specs should tell you is that it doesn't come with an air pump. That's not so important in this price range. Importantly, it fits perfectly on my rimless JBJ 20.

All-in-One 40g works for me. Works great. I don't understand why the bad reviews. Maybe they didn't know how to set it up. Creates a dark skimmat as it should be after a loop break. It also uses an air pump designed for a 30 gram aquarium.

I have a 30 gallon Aqua Japan AIO tank with a tray in the back. It fits perfectly in the last chamber. The air pump I use for this is a cheap 10 gallon whisper and it's more than enough. The airflow setting needs some adjustment. Start small and work your way up over the next day or two, and you'll find the sweet spot. Great little nano skimmer at a reasonable price.

Excellent skimmer. It was easy to set up and I had it up and running in minutes. This photo was taken about three hours after installation. Something needs to be adjusted in the next few days. I have a 10 gallon skimmer in the tank. Skimmat production in just 2 days of operation with fairly clean water and low bioburden so I'd say it's working well! Also very quiet. The proportion in the tank is not much larger than that of the heater. I have a rimmed tank and the mount is only designed for rimless so I had to improvise a bit. This skimmer will take you hours to set up before you have an effective skimmer. The first bubbler failed two weeks after the first affective skimm. This was very frustrating as the new bubbler also took several hours to assemble and disassemble. Keep an eye on the air line connecting the bubbler to the bottom cap as mine almost melted but was easy enough to replace. The supplied air valve is finely adjustable.
