via outdoor rack

Does not run in the middle of the frame, but over it. I have a hand built low profile jack and the pad just failed and the rubber broke after a few uses. So I decided to give it a try as I used cardboard last year and it fit snugly on a 5 inch slab, but I still used cardboard to fill in the center of the slab because it wasn't curved enough and I am afraid that over time it will crack at the edges when the plate is inserted. Time will tell how it holds up, but in my opinion it's a bit pricey…

Pros
  • Includes Super Silent Lubricant
Cons
  • The list will be long.

No more worrying about jacking up my car!

A while back I lost the rubber pads that came with the jack. And every time I use it afterwards I get frustrated. Without it, it's easy to scratch any metal surface it comes in contact with, and lifting the weld (which can be undesirable) will warp the weld. This eliminates scratches and helps when climbing out of a pinch seam (you might want to consider an adapter for that). I've also used it to support the engine with an oil pan - no dents or scratches on the pan. It's thicker and better…

Pros
  • High quality polyurethane components
Cons
  • Not sure

Not a jack, but an ill-fitting saddle cover

First of all: This is not a jack. This is a saddle bag for a jack and it is small. It didn't fit my Hein-Werner or snap-on sockets. Second, the slippery material of the suspension bushings that make up this product is not safe for safety in my opinion. I'd rather let the bottom of the car take the hit from the edges of the jack saddle than use that and wonder if it would slide off. As it only fits cheap imported sockets, no thanks as there is no need to load this setting with another variable…

Pros
  • Precise workmanship ensures a perfect fit
Cons
  • Cleanliness
