Large Torque Wrench

Excellent Torque Wrench. Easy to use and good quality. Automatic locking of a specific torque is very useful. I plan to buy other Proto Torque keys.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Easily repairable

and it works like a charm

Very high quality. Worth the money and works like a charm. Typical historic Proto quality: excellent coverage, finish and very ergonomic, comfortable to use and hold. I highly recommend this tool and it is among the best including Snap On and MAC.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

The problem with these proto wrenches is that the head and sprocket are too small and the ratchet sprocket is of poor quality. Bought for work, broke a second time. Recently I took it in for repairs and bought a J6064 repair kit, put on 40 ft lbs (minimum load setting) and it broke the first time I pulled it! A tooth has come loose from the new drive gear. There must be an issue with the quality of hardening on these gears. You are too fragile. Bought a snap-on CDI torque wrench instead. Great…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Security
