Bought it to put on My Honda vlx 600 and I got on my bike and accidentally kicked it and it flew off wide climbed on the back and put her hand on it and knocked it off it’s cheap af!

Honest review - my new review

I picked this up for my 2000 Honda Shadow VLX 600, I only wanted it for the rack to mount a tour pack onto.First off, you're going to want to pick up some new shorter hardware and washers as the ones the send are wimpy and too long, so they'll hit and scratch your fender. With some commen sense and time you'll be easily able to put this together.I've sat on it with my full weight and it didn't bugde, I wanted to make sure my wife's tour pack would go anywhere as she's leaning back on it.Welds…

Needs modifications to work

I started a return on this sissy bar, and decided to do some modifications. I put it on a 2007 shadow vlx 600. First of all this this does not work right out of the box without spacers. You will be buying bolts, probably nuts, and putting some work into it. You can make it look good, but not without some hours of work. In the end it looks pretty good, and I'm ocd so if it looked bad I'd take it off. I'm glad I didnt return it, because the price was right. If I had to do it again I would do some

Will Scratch Fender (04 Honda Shadow VT600)

Great price but unfortunately you get what you pay for. The legs on the backrest piece are too long and once installed scratched the fender of my 2004 Honda Shadow VT600.

Did not fit 06 VLX 600

Seems to be well made and had a nice chrome finish. A good price also but did not fit right. It needs spacers/collars for the brackets. Sits to close to fender, bolts will hit fender. It pushes up against back of seat. You would have to take it completely apart just to take seat off.
