This cap fits over the stock radiator cap and I had to trim the lower radiator brackets on my 2004 IS300 to accommodate the height increase. I love the design of this lid but wish it was a few millimeters shorter.

Love the concept but be careful - I couldn't figure out why my radiators were failing. Driven me and my mechanic crazy - only to find out the cover was the culprit. I traded it in for a cheap Autozone cap and had no more problems. I think it caused too much pressure.

97-01 Honda Prelude : This product is perfect. point on temperature readings. My radiator fans turn on at 200 degrees. The lid reading was accurate. The compression spring holds and releases correctly. I flushed, primed and bled an unstable system with a faulty factory cap. Added this cap and everything works.

So functional! I got this for my bike while remodeling a street fighter. I had to remove the original group and replace it with other sensors. Good: It works. It is so easy. It's very functional, it shows you the coolant temperature. Boom. Just. Bad: Sometimes the needle vibrates at idle. This is normal when driving. But other than that, it's a very functional sensor. Bottom line: get it if you don't have a temperature sensor, your sensor is broken, or you just need it for some reason. Works…
