PTZOptics is a high quality easy to use camera that we make. coyirctl will be plug and play right out of the box. I rate it higher than other PTZ cameras that cost $1,000 more. Great company with great support.

Great product with great support. I broadcast a technology conference live with it and everything worked great. Documentation leaves a lot to be desired, but email support is quick and helpful. Highly recommended. This seller shipped quickly and it arrived in perfect condition as promised.

I would prefer PTZ optics not to have open source software. Nowadays it seems easy to have to write. Software the way customers want it. But I can understand why someone would want an open platform. And then it was also difficult to figure out the configuration to crimp the ethernet cable. We've been through it, but it's not an easy setup. The rest of the camera itself is beautiful.

Installed in a large church hall for live streaming and recording of services. The picture is perfect, the zoom is perfect, the only complaint is a little judder or lag when the pastor makes large movements at full zoom. I think I need to tweak some settings and this issue should resolve itself. All in all I would definitely recommend this camera and buy two more in the future.

Well I've just been trying to connect to the network for two hours and gave up. All of your support is technical in nature. You would think that connecting an ethernet cable directly from the camera to my modem/router would work, but no. The Mac software they offer requires the latest version of the operating system, which I can't run due to other incompatible software. A very good and well made camera, but with some flaws. Well packaged but without a wall mount that needs to be purchased separately or together with the camera. The video has slightly better clarity at an office distance compared to the Zowietek PTZ camera I own, but details are lacking in the backlight area.
