I don't know if it's cute or chunky but it was delivered quickly. One initially worked perfectly for about a month, then completely hung up with no possibility of repair. Now we come to the spare part. Don't know if you can blame the manufacturer. Someone's little pumps just don't seem to hold up in an outdoor fountain.

He bought these to remove water from the top of our pool cover. They worked very well for this purpose, but on the third try one broke off the tip where the hose was attached. We tape the tip back on and keep using them because they remove water pretty quickly. I was glad we bought two in one package. not alone.

It's a bit small for what I needed. I used it to replace a similar pump I had in a 10 gallon pot. It recycles nutrients perfectly, but the volume is rather weak. I will use them as a backup. I didn't use the silicone hose that came with it. It wasn't the length and quality I needed. A 24-inch increase is fine, but if you're using a pump to evacuate nutrients during flushing, grab a chair.

I have 14 in total I affectionately call them 'Little Guy' no fuss great product at any reasonable price especially at this price there are quite a few Workhorses out there and they stay put. They are used in my 180g, 150g and 125g marine aquariums. They do a great job keeping my tank free of dead zones for waste and food to hide and build up 2 for the price of one, few specialty pumps.
