Motor installed and tested well running. The first hit I encountered caused it to stop working. The jack socket wasn't completely soldered to the board so it took a bit of housework because I didn't want to bother with returning it, but it works perfectly now.

We checked the prices locally and then ordered this motor around 5pm, we were amazed when it arrived the next day, not everyone can do that and we were amazed at the quick service. After watching a video on You Tube my husband installed the rear window motor with no problems, not bad for an 84 year old man!

I fitted this item and it worked very well except the spacers for the bolts were not included so I had to use the old spacers. Also, the elements leading through the door to the wiper were missing some seals. So I had to use some old parts. They should show a detailed list of the items that come with this as well as the other wiper item so you know you have everything on hand to get the job done. .

Easy to assemble in minutes. The piece of plastic that abuts the rubber gasket protruding through the body panel was NOT the correct shape for the 2004 WJ (Grand Cherokee). I had to use a plastic nozzle and gasket from the old one. I also decided to use the mounting bushes from the old engine as they were tighter. 2 stars because old components from the old engine were inevitably used.

Fits my 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee - Same as factory engine. I had to use old spacers on the motor shaft and mounting bushings. Relatively quick project - remove trim, bend rubber guard, loosen the two mounting screws (top of tailgate), remove wiper arm, loosen another nut, unplug a power cord, remove old motor - fit new motor and reverse the process! Don't forget to purchase additional door retaining clips (Part #6502991 on '99 Grand Cherokee) as some of these can break!
