Not the best quality but works as expected

Doesn't look very high quality. The extension handle is very plasticky and doesn't appear to be of good quality, but it serves its purpose as expected. I am happy with the price

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons

It does the job in tripods and monopods

Somewhat cheap quality (very light weight and plastic tips but it works. Not sure if durable quality but it works. We use it in our home video studio so I can talking about its durability as ours is mostly stationary

Pros
  • Dope ๐Ÿ”ฅ
Cons
  • Piggy Bank Price

Used to mount the camera on a desk for vlogging

Used as part of the frame to mount a DSL camera over a monitor for vlogging and video conferencing. Very durable. It took a long time to arrive but it still arrived 2 weeks earlier than advertised. Much cheaper alternatives.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Doubtful

Works on tripod as described

Exactly what I need. Required a tripod to extend another leg to capture the sky and it easily fits onto the tripod after the mount is removed. Then simply attach the bracket to this extension. Blocked and now I can use my camera's eyepiece

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Not sure

Very high quality! in camera and photo

Perfect fit! Unscrew the ball head from the tripod legs, screw the extension onto the tripod legs (3/8' thread), screw the ball head onto the extension (3/8' thread). Couldn't be easier. The extension looks very professional, perfect for my tripod. (Blackish) I highly recommend this to add 6-12 inch adjustable height between tripod and ball head.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Nothing included

Much easier than buying a new tripod

My current tripod is about 30cm shorter to get the camera at eye level. I was thinking about getting a new larger tripod but stumbled across this one and I'm so glad I did! It's small enough to fit in any camera bag and expandable in length. Nice that you no longer have to bend down when taking photos. It's also quite durable, I haven't had any issues with it. I definitely recommend trying this out before buying another tripod.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • No instructions

Great little extension

I have this to attach my camera to my desk mount and it's perfect. It supports the weight of my camera and ball head. The stability is okay, it doesn't sag or fall. It's light enough not to put too much strain on the arm it's placed on. The adjustable height is very convenient for me as it allows me to adjust the camera without having to move the hand it is attached to (which is a much more difficult operation).

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Compatibility

Simple concept. Increases the versatility of the tripod.

I bought this to make astrophotography a little easier. This will add about 7-12 inches to the height of the camera mount. I only need the minimum draw length. Now I can tilt the lens up and stand under the viewfinder. It's easier for me to adjust settings and view images on the LCD and then make adjustments as needed. The extension also allows you to increase the range when the speaker is turned sideways, making it easy to extend the camera beyond the legs. Overall it gives me more options toโ€ฆ

Pros
  • tripods and monopods
Cons
  • boring packaging

This extension will work just fine. I used it between the new Sony ZV-1 and its BT Remote Assembly hand tripod. The male and female UNC-20 1/4" holes and bolt match perfectly and the male side was NOT too long to rest on the base of the camera before the rubber boot was tightened. The extension is slightly longer and larger ( in diameter) than I would have liked for this application, but I really like how each of the telescoping sections locks the extension in place and the 90 degree rotationโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Camera & Photo
Cons
  • Security

3/8 " Thread is STANDARD

Most of the other reviewers of this product so far seem very confused that tripod legs without an integrated ball head usually come STANDARD with a 3/8" A screw with a - 16 thread to mount a ball head on it. There is a 1/4"-20 thread screw on the top of the ball head or quick release plate for attaching to the STANDARD 1/4"-20 hole on the bottom of cameras and other photography equipment. Therefore, tripod legs without a ball head attached are NOT intended to connect directly to the cameraโ€ฆ

  • Solid Tripods
