💧 Enhance Your Water Quality with PUR Faster Pitcher Replacement Filter Filtration Review

Bought these to replace the filters in my Pur, they don't work as well as the ones in the kit. Doesn't allow water to drain completely.

The packaging says that the charcoal powder in the jug is normal after the first filling. But even after 20 fillings and every time you empty the water with activated carbon powder, there is still powder in the supposedly clean water. Never buy again

I received a polyurethane jug for Christmas, in February my jug indicated that I needed a new filter. The water from my PUR jug tasted perfect and although I drink a lot of water, I think I can hold out a little longer. It's mid-March and I have a second filter. Much better than buying bottled water

Absolutely funny. I bought this filter (it wasn't cheap) and was very disappointed. The first filter died after 2 weeks. I've tried everything (putting it back in water for 24 hours, shaking it up and down, etc. etc.) and nothing has worked. Then I used the 2nd filter and that one died after 2 weeks too! I won't buy this again. I would try it with a normal filter.

ordered there when my previous filters ran out. They are shorter than the old filter jugs and the water just seems to crumble. Through them, not through a filter. I live on a barrier island with a lot of sulfur in the water, but the old Pur filter did an excellent job of removing the taste. These did absolutely nothing. I threw them away and ordered Pur filters with added lead removal. They actually work. This product is not worth the money.

So when I bought my pot, I got the pure "normal speed" filters, they took a while, but that was ok. After about 3 months it stopped filtering water completely (I suspected it was clogged but that took a while). I bought the quick version of Pur so I didn't have to wait long for my pitcher to be full. It was fine for the first week but now I'm on my second week and it doesn't filter the water unless it's over the "T" part of the filter and even that barely works now.

The first filter in these two packages did not remove the relatively small amount of sulfur dioxide from my Florida water as the previous design did. Removes chlorine smell and taste. Yes I know this filter is not designed for this substance but all my previous Pur filters have removed sulfur which I am sensitive to due to IBS. The other filter still works, but I'm afraid to trust it for long. The smell of sulfur appears gradually, so it is difficult to understand when the filter stops working.

I bought these to replace the original Pur filters and while I was pleased I noticed one thing that struck me as odd. Despite being shorter and smaller than the original Pur filters, they took 3 times longer to let water through. And then, not sure what was wrong, I tested the water after filtering it through one of the filters. It was clear and clean at the time, but there used to be a lot of what I believe to be charcoal paint in the water. So I'm deducting a star from the rating. The longer…
