Worst Purchase! in Water Filtration & Softeners

One of the worst products I've ever bought from Revain! The first one arrived broken, probably due to shipping. Revain support was great and sent me a replacement asap. Everything looked fine so I followed all the instructions and installed my polyurethane water filter. It stopped working after a few days. Once the water is full, it very slowly filters halfway through and then stops filtering, leaving enough water in the top tier of the pitcher at all times! I've requested a refund but since…

How I hate you, PUR? let me count the ways . .

1) Although they are made in Mexico, they are only good for Chinese water torture. That's enough, right? Many years ago polyurethane filters had the same problem. No matter what you do, no matter how many times you shake them up and down (as recommended by the manufacturer), no matter how many times you poke a toothpick in the holes in the ground, they STILL work in the range from painfully slow to impenetrable. Ashamed. - Kitchen and bathroom lights

So I bought this filter because it is advertised as PUR Ultimate. I also bought a Hone Forest water tester a few weeks ago. In short, the water tester indicates that the water leaving the filter is more polluted than the water entering it. I called PUR support. I feel like I didn't get an acceptable answer. I've been told that the Ultimate Lead Reduction Filter sacrifices other contaminants to reduce lead contamination. Apparently the charcoal filter can introduce charcoal into the "filtered"…

*EDIT*- 13 uploads are servicing the 53 minute filter and failing the last 1/4 inch.
