i have never had to change a purdy brush unless i was careless enough not to clean it immediately after painting . Well made and lasts a very long time once cleaned.

This brush is excellent for cutting around door frames, window frames and cutting from wall to ceiling. It does not shed bristles and has an excellent balance of flexibility and rigidity.

Works great with latex and acrylic. I got this because of Purdy's reputation. I HATE cutting but this brush made it easy for me and after a while my hate was replaced with dislike. This is victory. Now I'm a Purdy fan!

I'm so glad I bought this brush! I had to paint a wedding cake with edible gold. It worked great! The quality is just insanely good! Even my husband was jealous that I bought this because he loves these products to paint around the house lol. Would definitely buy again. The price is very reasonable for what you get!

I have several of these and they are great for everything I have used them for, paint, polyurethane etc. The long narrow handle allows me to reach a little further and also do light precise strokes for working with details. I don't draw much and think another model with a shorter and thicker handle would be better for heavy work like painting the outside of the house, but these are fine for me.

I bought one of these a few years ago and never used it. Then I bought this one. First, the packaging of both is absolutely identical. So you would expect it to be the same brush, but it's cheaper. Compared to the old brush, the current one is: 1. The thickness of the bristles is about 1/8 inch thinner. 2. The tip has square edges but rounded edges. 3. The bristles are about 3/16 inch shorter. 4. The wooden handle is a little longer, but the wood is thinner. 4. The barcode printed on the pen is
