This is a good enough filter for the price. I live in California, where there are a lot of wildfires, so there's a lot of smoke. I have some very expensive Swiss air purifiers with huge carbon filters that clean most of the house. They also remove chemicals like perfumes and other fragrances. This little air purifier helps get rid of the smoke in a bedroom. It's good for smoking so I assume they will sell it in the west. The remote control is useful.
