Our 2 house cats love this cat food!

When we adopted our two kittens from the shelter 2 years ago, I was actively looking for a dry cat food that was nutritious, good for them and at a reasonable price (not cheap but not expensive , such as fillets) is ). Minion). It was overwhelming! We chose this option and it turned out to be a winner! Our cats love it. That's about $3.50 per pound, whether it's a 3-pound bag at the store or a 5-pound bag from Revain. I once bought a large bag, but I think (for us) that it is too much to put in

DO NOT BUY THIS FOOD!

DO NOT BUY THIS CAT FOOD. My cats are internally healthy. I noticed them throwing up and thought it was hairballs. My cat suddenly had trouble breathing and vomited like she was choking on something. But it wasn't him. He drooled from his mouth and then died within 15 minutes. I thought it might be heart problems or something. My other cat continued to throw up all over the place. I finally put two and two together. I stopped eating and my second cat was much better. No vomiting since: Please…

Too Many Carbs

While my cats loved this dry food, I learned a hard lesson about cat nutrition from it: grain-free doesn't mean carb-free. My 14 year old tuxedo boy developed diabetes after eating this for six months. While I can't blame Purina (I'm the owner here, after all), I believe pet food manufacturers should help educate pet owners about the dangers of too many carbohydrates in a cat's diet, and they should strive to reduce the amount of carbohydrates in their food ingredients as much as possible. Our…

The pickiest cats in the world love it!

My youngest kitten (7 months old) has a food allergy. We've narrowed the list down to wheat, corn, or soy. I have five cats in total and it seemed impossible to find food that they would all eat. Those who could eat and love my kitten hated my old cats. Those who like older cats that a kitten might have hated the kitten. Not all could agree with the food they all enjoyed. We have tried every good quality grain free food available at the pet store that was recommended by my vet. My friend asked…

Very large granules compared to other brands - not for toothless cats!

Warning for those with toothless cats: this piece is much larger than most. I have fed my two cats who only have front teeth either Merrick's Before Grain, Purrfect Bistro or sometimes Wellness Core. This kibble is bigger than all the others. These are large flat shaped hearts and discs. I was even afraid to give it to them in large quantities - they would probably just vomit it up or maybe they would choke! They tolerate most normal small kibble sized kibble well, but will swallow it whole if…

If only I knew then what I know now.

I've been using another blue Purina mix bag for YEARS which is salmon flavored but full of grains. The best I can tell is that they are yellowish light colored granules as my Siamese cat vomits them whole or worse for my Maine Coon: the liquefied other end. I did a little research and found that the problem is probably in the grain. Cats are carnivores, they literally don't need grain. So if they're in the food you're about to feed, you're doing your pets a disservice. I've tried the Pepsi…

Happy Kitten Happy Life.

After feeding Purina One for a year, my cat developed skin problems and vomited. I decided to change their food to see if that would solve the problem. Unfortunately for both of us, she is incredibly picky about her food. I've tried two different types of Blue Buffalo and also Rachel Ray Nutrish and both didn't work. She didn't touch Blue, and Nutrish didn't help her with any of her problems. After looking at cat food for a few hours, I decided to give it a try. It had a different type of…
