My picky 7.5# Schnoodle has a terrible habit of blowing his nose in his food and always looking for something better. Our vet prefers Putin's Pro Plan line so I tried the chewy lamb and for a first time she loved it! Time will tell but so far so good, she has eaten more in the last 1.5 weeks than she has at any time in 23 months of her life.

In fact, I originally fed her grain free because I thought it was best for her, but our vet said that a strict grain free diet was actually NOT beneficial for her and in his opinion the Purina Pro Plan was the best approach to improving our health be.

Mom advised me to try this dish. We both have Pomeranians and they can be picky eaters. Both of my pom poms love this lining! It is an easily digestible dry food without an unpleasant smell. I've noticed that their coats are thicker (along with their tummies) and there's no drama of accidents indoors. I've been feeding my puppies for six months and I'm very happy with the results... the puppies give two paws up!

Spoiled Yorkies taught me their food is inedible unless I add something. If you are reading this you will understand what I am talking about. Their vet suggested Pro Plan as a good alternative to a highly rated and more expensive brand that they found questionable. And they LOVE this stuff! It contains dehydrated lamb cuts to replace the necessary toppings for meals that I can now give as a reward for being a very good (and spoiled) boy.

I absolutely do not recommend this product. If you're looking for the best product with the best ingredients, stick to the Science Diet; Instead of using a lot of cornmeal and poultry by-products, they use brewer's rice and brown rice, which is MUCH easier on the stomach for the dog and a lot healthier too. The Purina Pro plan may be backed by science, but they go out of their way to conserve ingredients to cut costs. The scientific diet doesn't do that, stick with them instead.
