Power up your engine with Purolator L24484 Premium Spin On Oil Filter for superior protection Review

Ordered a Purolator based on various reviews here and elsewhere on the web. Although relatively cheaper, it has better build quality than most and is on par with more expensive brands. I use Purolators on both of my machines.

I use this filter on my 1988 Acura Legend. There is a shorter filter with the same base as originally listed for Acura Integras of similar years and most manufacturers have moved to offering just a short filter for both models. But this Purolator is still the original, full-size, complete filter media. Of course I feel better using them and not the roots!

This is an oil filter that doesn't mean much, although I wanted and contacted Purolator to make it in Pure1 or synthetic oil filters. They said they didn't plan it. I have used Pure1 in everything and find that they make quality products better than others. Fits perfectly on my Legend and NSX, and the larger one theoretically picks up more dirt. The oil pressure has not changed. Gave 4 stars because it's not a Premium Purolator Pure1 or Synthetic.

Only giving 2 stars instead of 1 because it was the right item and it was delivered on time. Otherwise this thing is garbage in the way it is stored/handled.
