Only giving 2 stars instead of 1 because it was the right item and it was delivered on time. Otherwise this thing is garbage in the way it is stored/handled. The original Purolator box fell apart like it had been sitting outside for 20 years, with slits cut through, the lid barely holding and half the box (or whatever it started with) was bruised. But at the moment I didn't care because as long as the filter itself is new and undamaged, that really matters. pulled the filter out and there is usually no plastic seal around the rubber o-ring on ANY filter. Looking at the end cap and in the hole I can't tell if the dirt is burnt in or if it's excess paint, but it's everywhere. Tried scraping a bit to see what it was and didn't come off easily. I can't do that kind of crap to my engine. What good is a filter if it's already dirty? LAUGH OUT LOUD. ENTIRE WASTE OF MONEY.
