Initially this mic worked for me but one day it stopped working. I couldn't figure out if it was my app or the recording device, but after successfully using other mics, I realized the panda's purple mic was the problem. I have found that the microphone cables have broken internally with very careful use.

I was originally sent a defective microphone. No matter what I did or what device I plugged this mic into, there was absolutely no feedback, just static. This alone tells you that the microphone is defective and needs to be replaced. It took them 3 days to respond with troubleshooting instructions which I had already tried. I tested this on my Samsung Note 10 using both the native camera app and the user manual recommended app that came with the microphone. Both applications failed to record audio. I figured it might be an issue with the 3.5mm USB-C jack (since the Note 10 doesn't have a headphone jack), so I tried recording with the mic on my regular wired headphones through the jack.
