Fragile, apparently the wood hadn't even been sanded before the stain was applied. Drawers do not run smoothly and get stuck. It's too small for what I intended to use for a children's jewelry box, which is probably fine, but other than that it's quite disappointing. This is the perfect size for my desk and I have painted it with colored paint I made using paints I previously bought on Amazon and finishing touches such as antique brass legs and latches for large drawers added. Good but not great item, drawers are a little sticky as other reviews have noted but not too much. This is a lightweight item with a simple design. So if you need drawers with a smooth opening, be prepared to sand them down a bit by rubbing them with wax or soap. Or just buy something else. Overall a good product for the price.

This product arrived as expected; untreated wood. I sanded it, painted it and decorated it with scrapbook paper and Mod Podge for my daughter. As long as you read the sizes I don't think you will be disappointed with the size knowing what to expect. My husband does woodworking as a hobby and said for the price I paid $17.99 it wasn't worth the time and effort to build. So I think it's good for the price. It works great for what I wanted and I'm happy with the result!
