I bought this to hand sew, not machine sew. I like that it's thin and strong enough to use single ply thread as double thread is much more prone to knotting and needs to be threaded twice as often. However, the "internally bound" thread shouldn't fray and separate into layers when you cut it, which is bad. This makes threading the needle almost impossible without a needle threader.
