Bought for my nephew and according to the description it can be used with ipad and iphone but it is not. He has an iphone 4s and an ipad 3 and both are not compatible with this dock system. The item has now been returned to the seller.

The product looks very cheap. Simply inserting an iPad (iPad2 in this case) is very difficult, especially when a part is missing. There was absolutely no response to emails or calls asking about the missing part. I rate the product a 1/10 and the company's customer service a 10/100.

While it was a good idea and nice to have the iPad upright for ease of use and viewing, as well as extra space for the controls, the back has a bubbly shape and actually quite large so it takes up a lot of counter space. Also, the iPad almost bent over when trying to pull it out again, even scratching the corner or ours. Of course we don't do that often. We had to go back and have not yet ordered another product to replace it.

Was looking for a good speaker dock for my iPad2 that had FM radio as well as an AUX input for my satellite radio tuner. Most of the products I looked at were much more expensive and most lacked either an FM tuner or an aux connection. I saw this and decided to give it a try.
