Trash!: Amplifier

This amplifier is trash. Should have known because of the cost. FALSE ADVERTISING! ANYWHERE NEAR 5000 WATTS. I have 0awg ofc big 3, two Rockville 5000 watts max 2500 watts RMS into 2 ohms in the jeep wrangler and the bass is much weaker than expected. The amp heats up and doesn't put out much power. The speaker terminals are too close together for decent spade connectors. Might fit a 14/16 AWG flat spade lug, but no more. I had to connect 8 AWG wires to terminals without a spade. That's the…

I installed the amp with a 5 Farad capacitor connected to two 4 ohm 1000 watt 15 inch plye dual voice coil subwoofers. For maximum efficiency I connected two voice coils to the 2 ohm output. I would connect the woofers to the 1 ohm output but the amp is not…

I have 2 subwoofers, one is 10" and the other is 12" and both are DVC 1100W (400 RMS). I initially connected the subs in parallel and gave each sub its own channel (2-channel amp) as I thought that would give the best result. It really got them moving, but it doesn't really "make the car rattle" like I know from these subwoofers. Then I did…
