Great little plates!

Bought these guys repeatedly. I use them daily to make sous chef slices and cubes for gourmet recipes. Also ideal for small jobs in the microwave with butter, garlic, etc. The lids are stable and fit perfectly for storage. Good product!

Pros
  • Sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Minor difficulties

Lids Won't Stay on Food Containers

When I first bought these storage cups I thought they were AMAZING! The answer to storage needs. NO! In less than 6 months all eyelids started cracking at the edges which eventually progressed to the top of the eyelids. They have only been hand washed and treated with care. Now I have 6 small cups and no lids. sigh

Pros
  • Finally bought it
Cons
  • Good but not great

Pyrex glass storage is the best solution

I love this storage range. I can see what's inside and the glass is microwave safe. Plastic lids keep odors inside. I don't use plastic lids in my microwave, but I cover the bowl with a small plate to keep the microwave clean. I melted a few of these. It would be even better if they made sealed glass lids.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Not for everyone

as described for container sets

I use them for storing meals - they fit most small meals. However, if I freeze them but forget to take them out of the freezer before I want to use them, I have to get the contents out of the glass bowl, which isn't easy. So far they've been useful for leftovers from dinner that I want to use for lunch, but not useful (for me) for keeping things in the freezer.

Pros
  • Many fit
Cons
  • Minor issues

Great buy for food containers

I love these pyrex containers. I have 1 cup and 2 cups. I think 1 cup is perfect for my lunch at work. (My husband eats more than me and uses 2 cups for lunch). I also have a few 4 cups on the days I want a big salad (is anyone referring to Seinfeld?). I prefer glass over plastic as it doesn't stain after washing or worry about BPA or food taste.

Pros
  • Beautiful
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

Good alternative to plastic

I had to stop using so many zippered pockets. My plastic containers have been replaced with silicon bags and glass containers. I bought a set of 3 cup pyrex containers to store leftovers and cuts of meat. But I needed smaller containers for servings of veggies and ground beef. This is compliant. They are easy to clean and you can see what is inside. I have not used them in the oven or microwave. But they work well in the fridge and freezer. When I determine the sizes I need I will purchaseโ€ฆ

Pros
  • There's something in there
Cons
  • The secret

I have been buying Pyrex storage for many years

I only use glass containers in my freezer or fridge. This cup size is perfect for me. I cook in bulk and freeze food for the next few weeks or more so I don't have to cook from scratch every day. They're pretty strong. My cat threw a few off the rack onto the tile floor and they didn't break. I take them out of the freezer, rinse them in tap water with the lid on, pop them in the microwave to thaw for 45 seconds or a minute unlidded. Then I either put the food in the oven pan or on the stoveโ€ฆ

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Something is wrong

Made in Egypt. Sufficient for cat food and water.

These containers are not as thick as the Pyrex I bought at the store. Says Made in Egypt with Pyrex writing on the glass which is different to what I'm used to. Also hard plastic lids with a bad smell which I wouldn't put in the dishwasher so they last longer. At least the lids are not easy to clean. I bought them mainly to feed and water cats so it's not a big deal to me. I shouldn't use plastic bowls for older cats and they are a lot cheaper than real cat bowls. However, I would be wary ofโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Quick change
Cons
  • Almost never
