Waste of time in untreated wood

It would be easier to use a stencil and a black marker. It would be the same result. item returned.

Pros
  • Wood Material: Untreated wood decorations are made of high quality wood, laser cut and polished, strong and durable; The surface is smooth and clean, ready for painting, staining, painting, Christmas gift
Cons
  • Low repairability

It doesn't work, it bleeds.

The decorations were cute but the wooden handle was terrible. I could use a cheap brown Crayola marker and get the same or better results. It spread over the wood provided, making the letters look like they had little hairs on them. I was excited to try this and wish it would even work.

Pros
  • Woodwork
Cons
  • Not sure

What a mess. There are even lines on wood.

I have tried multiple application methods and chemical distributions with each exposure to heat. I even tried drying for an hour and still when the heat gun got hot it smeared like a screw on silk. I used about 1/4 of the included embellishments before just throwing the pen in. Now I'm going to try the scorching pen.

Pros
  • Arts, Crafts & Sewing
Cons
  • Very Expensive

Terrible Bleeding

Followed the directions with the embellishments that came with it and the results were terrible. There was no bleeding on the first application, but on the second application of heat it bled, billowed and gave a blurred appearance. The results shown cannot be created with this pen. It could be vinyl or something else for wood burning. I will use wooden decorations in a different way. I'm not 100% sure what it will be, but I definitely won't be using a marker.

Pros
  • Craft
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
